I trade the Australian options market - and we have three dual listed
volatile stock that basically take their lead from overseas - the UK in two
instances and the USA in the other.
I've looked at relative strength and plotted them - but it doesn't really
tell me anything I don't know - if the stock goes up in the USA it goes up
here the next day - I don't need a chart to tell me that.
But it seems to depend - on the degree of price movement.
I want to investigate if there is a direct, quantifiable relationship - and
am not too sure of what the best way of doing it would be.
My initial thought is to just plot the differences between the percentage
daily price movements - and see if that has any predictive merit.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.
