I fully agree with you Dan.
TJ mentioned a while back about getting a manual printed. i don't know if
he was talking about getting the helpfile printed, or adding stuff or what.
as i recall he was going to find a cost, and see how many folks wanted one.
i too would buy one. there would need to be provision to add additional
formulas/functions etc, so it would almost need to be a binder of sorts.
I also think, a BASIC writeup of how the data is kept in the arrays, how it
is accessed, and massaged would be a VERY helpful starting point. a
cross-reference list of all the commands/functions, grouped into the
different subjects, i.e. file handling, math, displaying as in
text/title/chartlines,etc, would tie some of the things together.
almost all the code i look at has no comments. adding comments would be
nice for newbies to understand what is being done--but i know it is time
consuming, when you just wanna write code and get it working.
