Hello,
1. Sorry but it is beyond me why would you like to install executable files to encrypted directory.
It has no advantage it just make things slower. I understand that you may want to encrypt data
but what is the reason for encrypting exectuable files that can be downloaded from internet by anyone ?
2. They will be accessible from Poweruser account
3. Poweruser has write access to some areas of the registry, but not to all areas. Also specific
access rights can be changed so I can not tell you what are rights on your machine.
Also 'compatibility' mode seems to affect the rights 'temporarily' allowing access to areas
that are not accessible in normal mode.
Chances are that your installation is OK (you can use Tools->Get Tickers from AmiBroker
option in AmiQuote to check if AmiBroker OLE server was registered properly).
