Jayson,
I knew that the local database was not specifically necessary when
uing QP, but I thought I had read in a previous message from Tomasz
on the board that maintaining the local storage was imperative in
order to facilitate the fastest possible operation of backtests and
explorations, so I have scrupuloulsy maintained the local database
ever since.
Is this not correct? Is eliminating the local database the only way
to correct the lengthy shutdown? Will doing so slow down backtesting
and explorations?
Thanks for your response,
Best Regards,
Nick Molchanoff
