What do you think of parabolic sar ?

Hi,
I just discovered parabolic Sar with amibroker, and it sounds to good 
to be true.
As a trend trader, I pick up stocks in strong trend, with strong 
fundamentals in strong industries and try to jump in at the best 
moment, like on pullbacks.

Is the use of parabolic Sar good for trend followers ? 
Please share your opinions about it.

I didn't tried it yet, but really like how it deals with trailing 
stops which is a complicated thing I must deal up to now.
