Hello Dimitris
The only problem that I see with AmiBroker right now is that is
does't seem to have a user friendly script writer. One has to have a
programmer experience to easily pick it up. There is a program called
PowerTech by Investor Allinace which is supposed to have a user
friend script writer by choosing words like price volume, greater
than, moving average, etc. and writes the code be hind the seens. The
code can be evaluated and changed mannully. However, the company has
not released any versions for over a year because of programming
problems. Software is free with membership and include free daily
data downloads.
I have not purchased the book called "Beating The Trend" yet. It is
considered a trendreversal formula. I know individuals at another
Yahoo forum that have purchased the book and tweaked the formula in
their Metastock program or the software that comes with the book. If
your purchase the book you can write the script in AmiBroker. My
internet friends are willing to assist me in their modifications.
They claim they have made good money with it in this choppy market.
The website is www.beatingthetrends. E-Book costs about $50 dollars
and you get trial version of software with program already built in.
I hope that answers your question.
