Surely you've received this e-mail solicitation, or at least heard of it: 

"I know this message will come as a surprise since we've never had any 
previous correspondence. I am Waheed Mohammed, financial controller of the 
Nigeria National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC) and a director in its Lagos office. We 
are seeking your assistance in the transfer of the sum of $50 million to your 
bank account for further investment."
Who'd buy that, right? Yet the gullible worldwide bought into various 
versions of the Nigeria pitch -- and lost millions in responding to faxed and 
emailed queries over the last decade. 
If that lame come-on can attract guileless investors, imagine what these 
following e-mails could rake in on the heels of Bush's speech. While they're 
entirely fictitious, they're designed to appeal to U.S. investors looking to put 
their money anywhere but in stocks:
