I should add to my previous post that in down markets highs do come early many times, and the lows come late on smaller time frames relative to larger, and likewise highs are late and lows are early in an up market, but not all the time. It was that pattern, of definitively knowing when a point would be late or early I was looking for...not a general expectation based on dominant trend.
