FWIW, I use PATS on a separate machine. There was
no insistence or indeed recommendation, but it does seem prudent.

talking to Refco top tech people almost all afternoon.<SPAN

Patsystem tech people. They are
hoping that it might just be a temporary router problem to their servers.<SPAN

have not even got anywhere with being able to download the demo.<SPAN

did your people insist/recommend you to run Patsystems on a separate pc as it
may interfere with your current data feed, or rather your current data feed
and Patsystems run together on one pc can cause
problems.

connect to the Refco servers.I cannot be sure that the connection to the Refco
servers is only a temporary problem. But this inability to connect has

your setup that blocks Java and you will be unable to use the PATS
system. with all the mascinations that MSFT is going through to void
Java, one of your programs might be the cause. that is where I would
look first. EI 5.5 should be OK. I believe that it was IE 6.0 that
