Re: [RT] Cargo

I surely don't believe I have all the answers.. (only opinions....) .. The
terrorists who did these deeds most probably have been in USA for years.
.... and those coming in recently are believed to have flown into Canada
and crossed the borders between USA and Canada which are like a sieve. I
agree that we have been too lax on many levels... not only at the borders
but also the govt agency that tracks the resident aliens.. of which many are
here with no current visa or greencard.... I don't see how you can suggest
that in this day and age that we can shut down airline traffic and not see
economy come to a halt. Each industry that relies on movement of goods
and services and people would end up being forced to lay off workers and
delay of products and parts resulting in the constant negative trickle down
effect to economy. It should be obvious that we can't go back to trucking
and train transport and autos for travel needs... in this day and age of
instant gratification . Your suggestion that we revisit pre air
transportation era just doesn't fly... ??? no punn intended .... :-)
