The Commodity Exchange Act is remarkably silent on the restrictions that
CTAs who want to advertise labor under.
In contrast, RIAs (registered investment advisors) have to comply with
all sorts of rules when they advertise.
Does anyone know what advertising restrictions there are on CTAs? Can
CTAs advertise in magazines? Can those ads discuss performance? If so,
how does the performance need to be presented?
