Has anyone ever heard the expression...."when you
subsidize something, you end up with more of it"? When America as a country is
compassionate and moderate towards people or groups who we know sponsor
terrorism, are we not subsidizing it idealogically, in some form? When you do
not react with at least an equal and opposite response, is that not also a
subsidy? If someone who steals $100 is fined $100 but only caught one time out
of 3. is that not a form of encouragement? I can not help but remember what
Colin Powell said during the Persian Gulf war, " We must surround the enemy, and
kill it". I realize this is a dramatic over simplification, but I wonder
of the appropriate reactions of the past are still appropriate?

Subject: [RT] Attack
To my friends at RealTraders,
I wish to offer my deepest condolences and to
express my stark horror for the infamous attack upon the United States of
America today.
The streets of Welland, Ontario where I live
were mostly deserted today. Canada is in shock. Canadian hospitals have been
ordered to be and are ready, willing and able to assist our American friends
from across the border.
Whatever the geo-politics regarding racism of
the moment may be, this is too much - too damn much.
The only thing which can be wished is, to
quote John Kelly, aka John Clark, one of the fictional characters of Tom
Clancy - "some sonofabitch is gonna pay".
With sadness and shame for the condition of
humanity, I remain,
Tony PylypukTo
