I have uninstalled Windows Scripting Host on advice from somone (not sure if
it was on this list or elsewhere). This is done through my_computer |
control panel | add/remove programs | Windows setup |Accesseries |Details |
uncheck the box in front of Windows Scripting Host.
I don't actually remember if this thwarts .vbs files or not but it may.
It was stated by the person or site suggesting this step, that functionality
could in rare cases be impaired but that the automatition capabilities of
scripting arent' typically used.
