Delta,
YOU GOT MAULED!
I once used AOL and that happened to me many
times. AOL has the worse e-mail in the biz. Which is why I think once all of
America has become accustomed to the internet and e-mail, AOL will be toast.
The irony will be that in about 5 years Time
Warner will have to suport AOL as everyone starts figuring out that there is a
better internet life beyond AOL. So, what does AOL offer? 1) E-mail: their
e-mail sucks as it drops attachments and files and losses compositions. You can
get better for free on the internet. 2) chat rooms - you can get these for free
on the internet 3) instant messenger - you can get this for free from AOL
of various other competitors. If you get the AOL IM you can chat with AOL
members for free. So, what's left? Everything I would ever
want that AOL offers I can also get for less money or free
from the internet and the serivce is equal or better than
AOL.
I kept my AOL piggybacked for the family
until I found out that most of the kid stuff doesn't work. So, I told the wife
to find another e-mail address and that she has a few months to make the
transition. I am pulling the plug on AOL at the end of my current billing
month, next week. Just watch that AOL share price drop next week when CNBC
annouces that I cancelled my subscription. Ooops! Is that inside information and
is it legal?
Disconnectedly,
Norman

I wrote this long
explaination of the attached chart. And wonderful %$#@*&^ AOL logged
me off and my response evaporated into the ether. I don't have time now to
re-write what I did. If anyone has any questions just ask. To
