Re: [RT] PFG Brokers

The PFG interface is nice. They do have some problems with
connectivity.... I would say on average once a week. I stop using them at the
end of 2000. I found Jerome Bressert the president responsive to customer
concerns, but on the other hand, if theres an error your basically eating it. If
they ever get the thing really stable, its by far the best interface out there.
It the fastest, cleanest, most organized of the bunch.

Now having said that, good luck finding something better.
They all have there problems from clunky antiquated, slow interfaces, to
literally 30 minute 1 hour waits to talk to a real person.

This is why independant software interfaces like PATS,
which do nothing more then enter an e-order quickly and reliably, are popular at
$350 per month.

I have used PFG Best they were so bad that I no
longer trade futures.....at all. Sometimes took 4 minutes, yes minutes to
place an order. Sometimes the cheapest really isnt.

    Can anyone using
PFG as their broker report on their experience with
them.

    I have been
using their simulated trading platform.  I like the interface and
the fact that it marks your account to market in  real time.
Order entry is very easy, but there is no ability to park orders.
There do seem to be a few bugs, but they claim those exist only on the
simulated software.  They have been very responsive to my inquiries and
seem to have a pretty good commission rate of $15
    roundturn.

    Any comments
    will be appreciated.
