Funny that we have a connection between equinox and a Bear on Time magazine., which many use as a contrary indicator.
I don't think it will work this time. The indicator is too well recognozed, besides, I have been collecting headlines from financial Times at Equinox (fall and spring) and it's interesting to see how volatile markets are around these times.
Or how interested the news media are in the markets at these times!!
More times than not, does financial Times have the markets on the frontpage at Equinox. Either it's foreign exchange, bonds or stocks. But I promis you, on September 20th, 2001+- 2 days, the headlines will be there again.
It's energy in the markets, no doubt about it. Unfortunately (for the bulls) it looks like it's one of the rare (15% of the time) times when the energy is WITH the flow not against it.
