LOWRISK.COM INVESTOR SENTIMENT SURVEY 4 / 17 / 2000

Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment
survey. The survey was taken from 4/10 through 4/16 on the
Lowrisk.com web site.

Number of participants: 356

30 day outlook:

28% bullish, 54% previous week
56% bearish, 21% previous week
16% neutral, 25% previous week

Bullish sentiment plummeted and bearish sentiment soared last week
as the stock indexes were hammered lower. The bulls dropped 26% to
end at 28%, while the bears picked up a whopping 35% to reach 56%.
That one week increase of 35% in the bears camp is the largest we
have seen in 153 weeks of sentiment data. However, this one week
surge in bears would be expected given the carnage in the market
last week...I don't see these sentiment numbers as screaming for a
bottom just yet...
