FWIW, Merrill and Goldman analysts came out today and said they thought
the methodology used by the Barron's study was flawed. CNBC also had
officers from a few of the companies on and naturally <g> they claimed
it was all bull and they have enough cash to operate for years at their
current burn rates.
Personally, I take both the Barron's study and the companies' claims
with a grain of salt. Looks like the study may have used inaccurate data
and things may not be a bad as they claim but everyone knows you can't
stay in business forever unless you start making a profit.
