I had a similar experience with LindConnect (browser based) some months ago
plus the fills were really slow, even from the bond pit. I tried the older
LindOnLine but it lacked some basic features. I also noted the ads touting
the new system but felt the money would have been better spent on improving
the system and keeping existing customers. It was only a trial account and I
closed it.
I think it is worth adding to the discussion for the benefit of those new to
futures trading that every futures trader should start with an account at a
full service desk and a broker who will take the time to explain the ropes.
Many of the larger firms offer everything from full service to on-line
trading, however the full service desk may not offer materially better
service than the discount desk - as in everything else, it depends.
