Just some current insight into the world of E trading.
Today was the biggest trading for listed option in the
history of the industry. Although it was not the highest
volume day .. today was the record for orders processed.
CBOE did a little over 275,000 orders today.
For those of you who trade Qualcomm options .... one of the
biggest market makers in Qualcomm has lost ... year to
date.......$12,000,000. OUCH !!! Makes you wonder why
anyone would want to take home short premium in this
market? The dealer wasn't at CBOE ... thankfully....rather
one of the smaller "regional" exchanges.
