Wrong! Your attack below is the oldest argument under the Sun by novices
trying to discredit our oldest science, Astrology. Yes, Astrologers have known
about the precession of the equinox and that the constellations are moving
approximately one degree every 72 years. The signs and the constellations are
not the same and haven't been for at least 2000 years. The only time the
constellations and signs were approximately in the same place was for a brief
time 2,000 years ago. We also know that the Sun is the center of the Solar
system. This was discovered and written about over 2,000 years ago, even though
the myth about Copernicus making this discovery continues. As for your claims
discrediting Astrology, Astrologers know that the Sun is the center of the Solar
System but most Astrologers use an earth centered Astrology when they analyze an
Astrological chart. This is because we live on the Earth so we are interested in
events as they relate to Earth, not the Sun. In the same way we perform this
analysis, we can also have scientific information about the Solar System yet
apply information in a different manner based on its relative practical value.
Yes Astrology does work. Does it work 100% of the time? No. Does it work
better than any other method of forecasting turns in the markets. Probably. This
is not the time or place for a scientific presentation on proving Astrology
valid. However for those so inclined, check the research of the Michel &
Francois Gauquelin who showed, using a 500,000 population, that where the
planets are at birth influence what career one pursues.
