I got a copy of Perry Kaufman's Trading Systems and methods from my library
. I was surprised how much this book covers. It makes me realize that almost
every conceivable angle has been covered in the pursuit of trading. It's
kind of funny how we fiddle around with the data until we see something
interesting and we think; "Ah I have an edge now and I can't tell anybody
about this edge," when in fact that edge may be very common knowledge. This
is especially true if you are a new trader but you dare not tell anyone for
fear of losing your edge.

We want to shout, "EUREKA I have found it." to our peers but we can't
because we've got a secret, so we say I think that Copper will go up to 200.

When this forum was down I read the CTDF forum a time or 2 when I was bored.
It really made me appreciate Real Traders a lot more. The administrators
insistence on quality posting has helped to create a quality forum. Even
when persons such as myself get out of line sometimes.

On a different subject have any of you noticed any inter-day (not intra-day)
range relationships in commodity prices? Is there any way to say that
tomorrow will likely be a large range day or a small range day. Or as Gann
did, to forecast what the high or the low is likely to be? Thanks for any
thoughts you want to share about this.
