<BODY bgColor=#ffffff>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Sounds like you have to get the traders
mentality. Every good trader I have ever meet and this includes guys I
have worked with closely like R</FONT><FONT color=#000000 size=2>ay Barros (he
has an average return of 57% pa after fees over 11 years), Russell Sands (yes
Russell can trade I have his results - 28.9% before fees last year) and Tom
Loveday have the following mentality:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>You don't want to stand between them and a pile of their money
(Note I said "THEIR MONEY"). This is a principal that carries
for an amount of $2 or $2million the principle is still the same. They
treat trading as a business and know if they have rules and follow those rules
step by step in a business like fashion</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>that in the long run they will make money.
Russell understands that his method is likely to have losses to out of 3
times. That means he feels bad 8 months out of 12!!! </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Ray Barros tells me he has had 9 losing months
in row before making a great come back to return 28% for that year in the last 3
months.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>You know from Van Tharp's work that Winning traders have
Mentally Rehearsed every problem they can find before they have them so they
know what they can do. So reherase computer problems.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>They also know that the game is a long run probability and
that in the short run they have to wear pain (ie losses) and that sometimes
their methods won't work (we know the Turtles methods work from the system
testing - it had its worst year last year only a 50% return) they also know that
they have to have a long run positive advantage via their methods. So you
should test your methods over 5 years to see if they work. If you don't have a
positive expectation method you should get one. Trading Psychology will not help
you if what you do has negative expectation.</FONT></DIV>

Gary ...this may sound crazy but here goes...
Enjoy it....be into it totally....try very hard to lose on your next 5
trades using the same techniques you use now...then enjoy your
sucess....
Dick
P.S. I new a great system for stocks ...last year the result of it was
not much for my wallet, lots for the broker and lots of work at tax
time. This year I'm trading my new stock system at
Marketplayer.com....I have found that the map is not the territory and
intend to experience the rough edges there first.
