Also, you can short spyders (Sym: spy) anytime...you do not have to short on
an UP tick!  How many times have you wanted to short but had to wait for
that illusive UP tick to occur!

The AMEX trades sector and index spyders which would allow you to do the
same as shorting funds, except the spyders are a lot more flexible as they
can traded intraday.

There are also options on the Lipper Index(es) of funds, but they rarely
trade.
