The system itself is up over 110% for this year to date. <br><br>Russell Sand's Pacific Turtle Fund (I am a Director of the Fund so I see the numbers) is up over 60% for the year to date (He trades 1/3 units, the System trades Full units). The System went down to minus 38% (Russell was down 12%) at the end of June and then roared out of the starting blocks in the last few months.<br><br>You must realise that when markets are choppy (ie 60%-70% of the time) trend followers don't have a good time of it. But the real test of a good trader is that you can hang in the choppy bad periods and be there to eat the cake afterwards. But on balance in the long run a consistent Trend Follower with a an edge will make money. They just might as Ray Barros always says have 10 months of Grind and 2 months of gravy. Hi Steve,
I trade through a SOES firm via internet, the software most likely that you will
be using is called Realtick III. You might want to learn that one first, other
wise you might have problems placeing a trade. Realtick III offers a lot of
different features, from different times to indicators. It should be all that you
need, unless you are using a tradestation program. Watch out, when running the
two programs together, may cause a delay in your data feed, by 1min or so.
