This is from a large cap search that has yielded good stocks over the past
year. I made an additional requirement that the stock close in the top 20% of
the daily range, and is within 20% of the 52 week high. Almost all stocks were
down at least part of Fri., so any search will turn up a lot of hammers on the
turn-around. These are the stocks:
EMC MDT WMI LLY
MAT CL IBM CPWR
MO WMT CSCO BSX
PG SGP SUNW WAG
MRK PFE BMY JNJ
There is some overlap with your list. Notice that EMC is right on a closing
high, CSCO was up for the day. A small cap with good fundies that bounced off
the 50dMA is AVEI.
No predictions here, just going with the flow.
