Brent --

I agree -- whether the president will honestly be threatened with
impeachment in the next two years (irrespective of whether he should be
or not) has a HUGE impact on the market -- the fact is, whether EVERYONE
knows he fooled around with Lewinsky means nothing if HE DOESN'T ADMIT
IT -- if he didn't admit it, then he would face further depositions,
trials, etc. and the business of running the country goes to the toilet.
Now that he has come out, Starr will have to make a much harder case for
bringing it to trial in the eyes of the public (again, irrespective of
what he did or did not do). Which is why I said earlier that he will
not be impeached -- the uncertainty has been removed from the market,
and investors breathe easier.

Remember, it's not what happens, it is how people interpret it that
matters in the markets!
