I am a frequent user of netmeeting for verbal communication just like internet phone. But i don't think so that Netmeeting is capable of doing remote computing. But it is capable of using video camera on both sides. So you have to point the other line's camera to its screen so that you can see whats on it.

I would suggest Laplink works better than PCAnywhere. The difference is outstanding. PCAnywhere is more popular but Laplink have more muscle.
