Last time I looked, the Moore stats showed terrible performance with 
their seasonal, statistical based trades, both spread and 
directional.

If that is the case, and you are using them as a "filter" gateway to 
tell you when to ALLOW trades, you might just want to examine that 
logic...

..unless your trade is in the opposite direction <g>.

Also, from a fundamental point of view, one must note that the world 
has changed much with regard to seasonal attributes for commodities 
where those attributes are a significant influence on price. New 
growing/production techniques, the ease and expansion of 
transportation, currency/wealth realignments among producing nations, 
etc. The world is a much smaller and "closer" place than in 1980, and 
that applies to production/transportation as well as information 
distribution. And the latter made a lot of "seasonal" trades possible 
that are not anymore.
