First of all, if you keep your AOL account, you don't need a new email --
just log in through your ISP, and check your AOL account as you always do.
You will, of course, have an extra new email account to use, if you wish to
do so (good way to separate junk mail). Also, what program are you trying to
use that won't work with AOL? If you have upgraded to the 32-bit version of
AOL (check upgrade section of AOL), you should be able to run any standard
TCP/IP program that runs under Windows95. Good luck!
