Speaking for myself, I'm do not take any fundamentals into
consideration. The markets move by their rythyms with this information
already incorporated.
As a matter of fact, with my technical analysis, it almost appears that
the results forecast the events. In other words, I may say that I expect
Soybeans to CIT on a particular date, and then on that date it does so
because their was a flood or something. Bad news forecasting?
As for reports, they do make me uneasy because they can cause little
blips to appear, just enough to knock you out. Therefore, I choose to
exit on report days and look to re-enter the following trading day.
