Andy,
By a strange coincidence the eSignal downloader is a custom version of the TSSupport
Uniserver.
TSSupport wants $120 bucks for theirs and eSignal is giving it away - what a country!
The way to the downloader - goto eSignal home page - www.esignal.com - click on
'Support' - from the dropdown select 'Bulletin Boards' - at this time you need to
register as a member - link is in the 'Welcome to the eSignal -' message.
After you register get yourself back to the 'Bulletin Board' page - scroll way down the
list to 'Trading Strategies / Software' - select '3rd Party Studies / Developers /
Applications' click on this - next page should show the 'Tradestation 2000i ' form at
the top - click on this - you are in the form. The top two posts are the ones that you
are looking for. The first contains some helpful information the second post contains a
link to the downloader.
The main problem with the downloader is the setup - you MUST have 'Trade Record' in the
downloader window - you don't need to select the 'Trade Record' it just needs to be
there. The setup instructions do not make it clear that this must be there.
The 'Trade Record' doesn't exist for Forex, which is what I trade, so I saw no need to
have it in the window - wrong! Good luck. If you need help I'll be here and the
eSignal form moderator is very knowledgeable about the downloader and making it work
with TS.
