You can scan 1000 symbols in both Quote Screen (QS) (which is what you
get if you do not subscribe to RadarScreen (RS) at $60) and RS but only
in RS can you use custom indicators. In QS you can only use the canned
indicators than come with TS 8, of which there are many.
The MessageCenter in TS 8 is the equivalent in TS 2000 to the
TrackingCenter (TC), where in TC you can click any 1 or more columns at
a time and copy them to the clipboard and paste them as contiguous
columns else where. Can not do that in TS 8. Any data (info) must be
extracted from RS or QS as 1 at a time or all (no in between) columns
and paste in Excel if you want them rearrange (which I do).
Just did some tick counting. For AMZN (last 2 days ending 4/27/05 at
2:04 ET) eSignal on TS2000 showed 106,066 and TS 8 108,720 (delta 1.5%).
Quote.com reads the same as TS 8.
