"Offshores" come into focus once in a while. But severtal things to
remember:
1) Do you really want to maybe do battlle with the IRS?
THEY can outlast ANYONE ! All it takes is one word - AUDIT !
2) Do you really want your funds sitting in some bannana republic?
Banking regulations safeguards? You got to be kidding!
3) Do you feel charitable toward a lawyer?
There's a good chance all YOUR profits and equity may wind up
to be HIS equity?
4) Is complex skirting around income regulations worth the hassel and
sleeples nights?
Get a good accountant. There are ways of setting up a trading
account / entity that may save substantial taxes.
THESE ARE NOT LEGAL OR ACCOUNTING ADVICE. Just food for thought from
someone who worked with the "other side" several times.
