A virus would explain the sudden onset of the problem, especially
if nobody else is seeing it. It sure does seem odd that it
happens with ad sites, though.
I already run Spybot Search & Destroy, and Lavasoft AdAware.
Neither one finds anything unusual. I'd be surprised if I had
gotten infected with something -- even though I've received
hundreds of emails a day for over 10 years, I've **NEVER** gotten
infected with anything. A bit of care, and avoiding Microsoft
products like the plague, goes a long way.
