Oh you are funny today. Upgrade to TradeStation 8. Yeah that is a
real upgrade. Facts below. No confusion on my part.
I can plot volume or ticks on eminis in real time and I don't have
to give up my freedom of choice on data. Boat loads of choices of
real time or downloadable data. I don't get forces to upgrade to
TS9 when it hits either. I AM IN CONTROL.

Yes they did. All you have to do is upgrade to the latest version
(TradeStation 8). :-)
The attached picture shows a 5-minute chart for the current ES contract with
the Volume indicator plotted.
The data window shows the values of up and down volume and the red number is
the total volume. You can also get the tick count instead of the volume if
you prefer.
