All I know is for many years we tried to get Tradestation/Omega to do
something about the volume issue on futures. They didn't even
acknowledge that there was a problem. So if you have this problem
then I suggest you try this solution. I know it will not work for DTN
satellite feed but it does work for many of the internet feeds. I
haven't tired them all so I don't know for sure. If you have eminis
and a fast computer and have lagging data then this is what I toss
out. It is worth a try.

What I do know is Tradestation/Omega if full of crap. If you trust
their answers you will have problems. I fell for it several times
many years ago. Paid my dues.

According to tradestation support, the suggested "fix" to recreate the
electronic futures as stock of index is only relevant if you use
esignal or one of the third party feeds that emulate DBC.

Tradestation have rearranged their support site so the bookmark is bad
but the original tradestation support note used to be here:

cached copy from google is available here:

Note that this problem has been around since August 2001!
