Re: Scams

Wondering what the ideal number of internet personas a scammer ought to use as he generates a phony ground swell of enthusiastic customers when in reality he's playing all the roles.

And what ever happened to all those "famine" dried food hustlers that toured the USA guesting on radio talk shows back in the 70's?

There was that gang based in So Cal that ran a school that cost $6,000 for 3 days to teach their trading systems. They posted the system sigs on the web each day. Finally, the feds pulled their rug and it turned out the posted results did not include all the system's sigs. The system would have folks trading it in chop where it lost money. However, these chop sigs were not made public and the chief scammer ultimately was fined, but not jailed.
