This link explains an example of how Excel may receive real-time data:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;289150, however,
data still has to be published from somewhere and a script has to know
how to hook-in to the "stream." There are a number of programmers that
can put this together at quite a reasonable cost. My guess is that
approximately $1-$2K would cover the development of a driver that
extracts real-time data from eSignal's MarketCenter, although it's not
really real-time, but good enough for monitoring positions.

Colin,
Do you know of any way to "push" data to excel on another computer on a
real-time basis?
