Hi Colin,
I had put my own spin on that... Programmer said it isn't a mature product.
He meant (I believe) that we might have to do work arounds and that we
cannot trust that it's written so well we can count on things to work as
advertised. But, (you make a good point) that is somewhat true of most
things, and they can still work.  So, before committing to the programming
to write the program for the API, I am checking to see if others know of
better options.
