Cleanly installed operating systems always run
faster that OS's that are installed for a while.
I have no idea if there realy is an improvement
in speed when installing XP but if there would be,
it would be very little.
Also keep in mind that most of the improvement
you have gained are due to the clean install and the
tweeks. You can get the same when cleanly
installing W2K. (before everybody all of a sudden
desides to go over to XP :-)
