GS data following new install

Hi All,

Is there another way to do this more efficiently:

Each time I do a new install of an OS, I need to export ALL my GS data in
XPO format then re-import after a fresh install of the OS and TS2K.. but
problem is now that the GS data takes over 2GB of and it takes a heck of a
long time to export/import all that stuff.

I there an easier way to just copy a GS data directory over to a back up
drive, do the re-install and copy the data back to GS directory instead of
exporting/importing the entire universe of symbols?
