RE: VXO.X on DTN Satellite

Jay, thanks for activating the VXO.X. There is something else you could do
for the TS2k/dtn sat users, and that is to add a few CALC symbols such as
#ES, #NQ, #YM,#US with the appropriate "P" process codes so the front month
emini futures will store as an indexes in the Global Server. That would
facilitate TS2k users being able to plot the emini trade volume and have it
update in realtime. Because of a bug in the GS which Omega will never fix
the emini trade volume is only pulled into the chart when the future's data
is first loaded. New price bars that come in don't display the trade
volume even though it is in the GS. It will work properly if categorized
as an index. This addition would also permit us to easily build continuous
futures contracts, another deficiency in the Global Server.

Thanks,
BobR
