Henry,

Naw it probably doesn't have anything to do with it, but it is funny
that it turns the RPC off.  I've looked and tried to turn it back on
but it didn't work so I had to reboot.  But I'm sure it doesn't have a
thing to do with it.

BETTER REINSTALL.  While we are at it reinstall the OS too.
