Yes, because that is what you buy. If you only have the virus
scanner, Norton will only do virus scanning but they also have
products that manage your dustbin etc. etc. etc.

Who know's what happened on your machine. Clearly it does
not happen on many other machine's so my guess would be
that your case is not the standard for Norton.

Probably because you might be one of the few (if not only)
person having these kinds of problems ?
