I use esignal and TS2K as well as I had the same problem at first. I recall
now that esignal started to include volume ticks into their feed which for
some reason was overloading TS2000. NOTE: IF you try to plot the intraday
volume for emini's you'll notice that you won't be able to see it. Omega
never bothered to update their s/w after esignal made this change.
There are 2 fixes:
1) The Omega knowledge base has some info on this.. it requires a registry
entry change, and a minor change to one the Globalserver init problems.
NOTE: This only relieved the cpu usage problem slightly.. cpu would still
spike tho not as often but still unacceptable and I still couldn't plot the
volume data.
2)Delete the old ES FUTURE symbol and create a new one w/ same name with the
same settings except instead of specifying FUTURES as the type, use STOCK.
NOTE: This solution worked the best.. cpu usage no longer spikes and now I
can plot volume data.
If you want more info, pls let me know and I can dig up more info.
Cheers,
Bing
