Carroll-
I completely understand where you are coming from on
this. My first thought was, What the hell is this?
However, although I'm new to Tradestation(2yr. user)
I'm of the opinion that given current market
conditions as well as the fierce competition that
Tradestation faces it is in their best interest to
cut/defray costs and refine their business model to
reflect a more profitable bottom line.
If that means sticking its customers with an extra $1
a month charge, well, so be it. I'd rather see them do
what they feel is necessary in order to remain in the
black and reinforce their staying power within this
industry. Also, I cross my fingers but would like to
think that this offset helps in providing the extra
cash to further their service offerings, add depth to
their product etc...
just my 2 c's.
