There is a utility that someone on the list wrote to defrag the server
database it is called unfrag.exe  I cannot remember where I downloaded it
but if you can find it, it works well and has gotten rid of the failed
message for me. it also was able to shrink the omega server database by
about 100 meg in my case.  I have it on my ts computer and if you want it I
will email it to you if you want it after market let me know if you would
like to try it.  It also will give you a list of symbols that have not
collected data for awhile.

Every once in a while (2-3 weeks or so) my TradeStation server data gets
corrupted and crashes. I get a "Cannot open tick file. Rebuild failed"
message and am forced to copy a backed up copy of my TradeStation server
directory. I am using TS4.0 with dynastore and esignal. This problem is
incredibly annoying. Any ideas why this is happening and how to stop it?
