Not out of the woods yet was Re: Boring TS4 Install Question

I've been attempting to replicate a fully dialed-in TS4 installation on a
new WinXP computer. Thanks to all who were able to shed light regarding the
best procedure. Things are basically working now, except there's a *nasty*
little problem with the dongle (detailed below).

Omega very kindly informs me that "We don't support that product anymore".
So I'm really hoping somebody will know what to do!

Thanks,
Phil

1. Installed build 19 from an original TS4 CD.

2. Deleted the entire Omega directory structure

3. Copied the entire Omega directory structure over from the old computer
(required 2 CDs altogether)

4. Ran procedure to install security block drivers

5. Copied all TS-related *.ini files from old computer c:/windows to new
computer, same directory. About 5 all together.

6. Fired it up. Everything works great - all the setup was retained from
my old computer. EXCEPT there is a big problem in recognizing the dongle.
I could get things to go, but just barely. Had to hit the "retry" button
dozens of times. It took some finesse. Hit it too fast and the program
would crash. Too slow and you never get in, you could try all day.. A huge
pain!
