As I recall there is a good tutorial at the Advanced Get site

On the left side click on Support and then click on the upper left side for
"downloads". There is a free download of T. Josephs book "Practical
Application of a Mechanical Trading System" which may be of help?
Also on the home page, the demo download which can be found under the search
might give you a backdrop also.
